Comments: We cant begin to tell you how much we enjoyed staying at 'Wavecrest'!!
The house was pristine upon arrival with a wonderful welcome tray with milk and biccies. There was even £10 put into the meter for us and we didnt use much more than this for a whole week so very cost effective as we used the washing machine, dish washer etc lots.
The house met ALL our needs and there was even a cot / all the bedding and highchair for our youngest!
The house was perfect! we loved Skye and we loved staying in Staffin at Wavecrest. Fab walks to the beach, to the local coffee shop and there are so many historical places to visit locally.
Very child friendly house and fab area for the kids too.
Locals were dead friendly.
We will def be back!!
10/10 for wavecrest !

Comments: We spent a week at Wavecrest in early April 2008. It was a wonderful place in a great location on Skye with easy access to the mountains, lots of great walks, seashores, and interesting sites. Our two young children LOVED the sheep that browse around the chalet. The place was well equipped nad very clean. We would definitely return.

Comments: We have visited Wavecrest at least 5 times now plus our dog. This is a great relaxing bungalow to visit with all your home comforts. A great place to see all types of wild life . It is also within easy reach for a day away visiting many attractions in Skye. To see the sun setting on Staffin Bay is increadible and looking over to the lights of Gairloch at night is a spectacle. Remember your binoculars. Nothing is any bother to Susie's housekeeper if you wish anything or need any information.

Comments: Was at 'Wavecrest' at the start of June. Lovely cottage, couldn't have asked for more. Very clean and well presented.
Anyone who is going, it should be pointed out that there isn't a freezer so don't buy frozen pizza's before you get there like we did as you haven't go anywhere to put them!
Oh and another thing - finding 'Wavecrest' can be a little bit tricky, go through Staffin and eventually you will come up to a bend, "Piece of Ate" is on your left hand side on the outside of the bend. There is then a blue bus shelter on your right hand side just after the bend. Take the right turn down a small track (over a cattle grid) just after the bus shelter. A few hundred yards down this track and Wavecrest is on your right over the cattle grid.
Hopefully we'll be back on Skye in the near future as it is truly a beautiful place to visit.

Comments: We have just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable holiday at Wavecrest -helped along by a week of wall to wall sunshine - very lucky indeed. The chalet was very comfortable with all the amenities required for a self catering holiday. The scenery and views from the chalet are beautiful and we did some wonderful walks and saw all kinds of wildlife including a sea eagle and golden eagles. All in all a most rewarding holiday. Thank you.

Comments: Having spent a week at Wavecrest, it is a fabulous fulcrum from which to explore all that the island has to offer. Wavecrest is superbly presented, and comes complete with more than can usually be expected of holiday accommodation. Incredibly clean, with modern equipment and fittings, the chalet was a marvellous base for a magnificent holiday.
Having stayed in a number of holiday cottage accommodations in various parts of Britain, Wavecrest is among the best equipped that I've experienced, and represents the sort of quality that all such accommodations should offer. I strongly recommend a stay at Wavecrest.
